Goostrey VHPFF – Community recreation facilities & Sports Pavilion

The Goostrey Playing Fields on Boothbed Lane, Goostrey (CW4 8NB) are owned and run by the Goostrey Village Hall & Playing Fields Foundation (Goostrey VHPFF), a non-profit making Charitable Trust which was founded in the 1960s to provide sports in the village of Goostrey. The Playing Fields offer not only sports facilities – Bowling Green, Astroturf (including basketball nets) and Football pitch – but also a brick-built Pavilion which includes meeting rooms and social accommodation for use by all sections of the village community.

The Trustees of the Charitable Trust (Charity Registration No. 520053), who represent the users, residents and organisations in Goostrey, run the facilities on an independent and voluntary basis to help to create unity, friendship and sporting opportunities within in the village and the nearby Parishes.
